Situated in the extreme South-East of Cambridgeshire, adjoining the County of Suffolk and The Isle of Ely, Soham is a large parish of reclaimed fens and meres which are now highly productive agricultural land, being particularly noted for root crops and fruit.

Soham lies 8 miles North-West of Newmarket, 6 miles South-East of the Cathedral City of Ely, 8 miles west of Mildenhall and 19 miles North-East of Cambridge, London being 70 miles in a Southerly direction. Soham is directly reached by road on the A142 from Ely, which meets the A11 trunk road from London at Newmarket and the A14 from Ipswich through to Cambridge to eventually join the A1 at St Neots and the M1/M6 at Crick.

Brenda's Flowers is situated near to the centre of the market town.

Soham can be reached by Train and Bus via Ely Rail Station, only 6 miles North-West of Soham, and Ely connects to the Mainline from London to Scotland. National Express Coaches can be connected at Cambridge for London and various provincial Towns and Cities. Bus routes of Stagecoach and other operators, link Soham with Ely, Cambridge, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds and other surrounding Villages. The nearest Civil Airport is Cambridge and the nearest International Airport is at Stansted, South of Cambridge off the M11.
